Michelle DiTondo

With over 30 years of experience in human resources leadership and organizational transformation, Michelle DiTondo has been a trusted partner to hundreds of leaders including the CEO, COO, CMO and business unit presidents as an internal CHRO at MGM Resorts for nearly a decade. In addition to being a consulting fellow and Board Member with Whole Leader | LeaderMom, Michelle is a Principal in Avion Consulting, a firm focused on providing research and training on leadership topics such as The 5 Coaching Conversations, How Leaders Improve, change management, culture and inclusion strategies. Michelle loves to train and support leaders at all levels, bringing a direct and compassionate practical savvy that comes from knowing what it feels like to be in a leadership role with more to do than time to do it.

Her strategic advisory practice guides senior and executive leaders in large organizations to increase the effectiveness of human capital and culture in their organizations by improving their presence and impact as leaders. As a strategic partner to Whole Leader, Michelle works with us to hone HR strategy and results by preparing HR teams for transformations and transitions of all kinds.

Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Arizona State University and her Master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University. Michelle resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband and two children. She has balanced her role as an executive with her roles as a fundraiser, hockey and cheer mom, and board member. She has held Board positions with the Culinary Training Academy, Asian American Pacific Islander Scholarship Fund and the Red Cross of Southern Nevada. Her role on the board of LeaderMom LLC enables her to make meaning of her own journey and support the creation and sharing of resources for women and mothers in leadership roles.
