Janet Schrager
Janet Schrager, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and coach. Janet is perceptive and aware of how we relate to ourselves and others, negotiate transitions, move toward well-being and achieve happiness and success. Certified in Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP) and trained Mentor Coach, Janet brings these areas of expertise:
Mindsets and behaviors to promote thriving and well-being
Achieving mental health
Major career and life transitions, including retirement
Personality assessment - deepening understanding of who we are, our strengths, and our preferences while also enabling our growth
Managing high conflict relationships
Her clinical expertise enables Janet to support leaders who have, or who support people who have, challenges such as anxiety or depression, as well as neuro-diverse leaders. In addition, while most corporately-sponsored coaching begins with a business-related need, research shows the over-whelming majority of engagements spill over into personal issues. Janet’s experience with high-conflict relationships, and her work with parents and teens, enables her to flow between work and family contexts.
“One of Janet’s super powers,” according to founder Catherine Flavin, “is asking a really wise question, the kind that stays in your head, the kind that is spot-on, and cracks through and opens a path forward.”
Janet lives and works in West Hartford, CT. She prides herself on offering tangible tools that can be applied in various contexts, so clients can move from surviving to flourishing.
